Making our Treasured Past Come Alive for a New Generation
Each year the Danville Heritage Council organizes the Danville Heritage Festival to celebrate our storied past and make history relevant to a new generation of residents. Centered around Mill Street in Danville with special events at other locations throughout the Danville community, the Heritage Festival is a lively blend of past and present. Held in conjunction with the Danville Business Alliance’s Fall Arts & Crafts Festival, the event includes living history presentations, historic tours of Danville, live music, vendors, great food, fireworks, hikes, and much more!
The Danville Heritage Council is already hard at work for next year’s festival! Plan to join us on the first weekend after Labor Day for a 3-day festival packed with activities for the whole family, and check back often for updates and information!
